Softball Letter 2019
Hello parents and prospective players. After a successful campaign last year in which this team took the eventual state champs to the last swing of the bat, and winning the conference championship outright, I am incredibly excited and honored to get back to work for the coming season. It will be a challenging, but hopefully rewarding season for us this year and I look forward to taking the journey with you. The theme for the team this year is TOGETHER. We will show unity in the face of adversity and will stay focused on the good of the team. This includes parents as well, the teams that are continually in the hunt for state championships not only have the players unified, but they also have a whole community behind them. Our pre-season meeting will be held this year either before the end of the school year or early on in the summer. I will make sure to get the date and time on it to you as soon as I have it finalized. Open field will be held every Saturday at 9AM-11AM. Open field days are Not mandatory, but if you are there it is a time for getting better. Official practice will start Monday July 15 for pitchers and catchers and the rest of the team will report on July the 22nd.
What to Expect of Me:

I will first and foremost treat your child with respect, and will do my very best to help each girl succeed and improve. I care about each one of my players and want to see them reach their goals. Tam trying to not only build a championship caliber program, but also build champions of character. Sports will end for them someday, and what values they possess will then determine whether or not they are successful. I am very driven and highly competitive, and will demand intense focus when it is time to go to work. I will strive to do a better job communicating with parents about changes in plans and timing of events. I have an open door policy; if you have a problem with something or questions or even just need to talk, I will be glad to schedule a time for you to come by the office and talk. (This does not mean that any lineup or strategy adjustments will be made after any of these conversations)

What I Will Expect:

Team fully committed to helping this team win a state championship and this program grow into a sustainable dynasty, so I will expect my players to be fully committed as well. I will expect my players and parents to promote unity within the program and community. Players should be dressed and ready at the designated times, with all of their equipment.
